JOHN 8:44 - THIS IS WHY NONE OF THEM SAY ANYTHING- THEY COVER UP EVIL

June 25th is celebrated as the feast day of Pontius Pilate. 

"Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, 'Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.'" — John 19:19

When the chief priests protested and asked him to change it to "This man said, I am King of the Jews," Pilate famously shut them down with his stubborn retort: "What I have written, I have written" (John 19:22).

Pontius Pilate is like Simon Peter- he originally succumbed to the crowd, but he redeemed himself.  He didn't want to crucify Jesus. The bloodthirsty Jews and their leaders wanted it. This was their Ben Joseph; please, if they disagree, let them offer an alternative somewhere; it doesn't exist! 

They offered him up like Joseph in Genesis by the brothers. It was "Judah's" idea, and the brothers sold Joseph into slavery. You see the similarity?
