Is there a reason why there is 4 gospels? Yes !

 Because it connects to the same ideas in the I-Ching. 

The eclipse at the end of the Gospel of John, the fourth day the sun and moon made in Genesis. Mary Magdalene is like Eve in the Gospel of John, Jesus is like Adam.

In the Gospel of John you have Thomas in there 8 times and Didymus 3 times. 8 x 3 = 24, or the 8 trigrams, Jesus appeared 8 days after the resurrection of the body as the temple, square the 8 = 64.

These words mean twin. Thomas sticks his finger in the side of Jesus, where Eve comes out, but also where church connects to.  Eight days after his resurrection, Jesus appeared to his disciples while they were gathered with Thomas, who had not been present for the first appearance. Jesus addressed Thomas's doubt by inviting him to touch His wounds, leading Thomas to exclaim, "My Lord and my God!"
