Israeli technology companies have deep, systemic ties to the United States federal government, primarily concentrated in cybersecurity, defense technology, and cloud infrastructure.
Because Israel's technology sector is heavily rooted in veterans of elite military intelligence units (such as Unit 8200), Silicon Valley giants and U.S. federal agencies frequently rely on Israeli-founded firms to secure critical infrastructure.
Silicon Valley venture firms and the Pentagon are actively funding and procuring Israeli military technology. The interaction also moves in reverse: major Silicon Valley firms operate multi-billion dollar contracts that directly service both the U.S. and Israeli governments simultaneously.
