Jesus - The Sacrificial Passover Lamb and the Scapegoat of the Pharisees or the Talmudic Jews

That is what he is.... though few people will tell you this nor acknowledge it. The killing of Jesus was done in an indirect way that was compatible with the Talmud. It was done through the hands of the Roman authorities but instigated by the Pharisees. It must be remembered that modern day Jews descend from the Pharisees. All Jews today, expect the Karaites,  get their Jewish identity from the Halakhah law of the Talmud, which comes from the Pharisees. See here and here for more on this.

At the end of the gospel of John, Peter is supposed to stand up for the followers of Christ because they are the sheep and lambs. (This is also the dialectic from the Old Testament of standing up for the lowly and destitute.)

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.” This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, “Follow Me.” - John 21:15

"I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." - Matthew 16:18

It is interesting that the other elements that are paramount in the gospel of John are Jesus being the Good Shepherd who brings in the modification of the law that is referred to as grace, (otherwise known as beauty, elegance, and simplicity,) this has a very Greek spirit to it, (Aristotle's idea that Ethics was for the love of the beautiful or about what is noble. You can also see the association here between the Golden Mean, the Golden Ratio, and the Tetragrammaton.) Just like Sophia in the Wisdom literature of the Old Testament, Jews cannot get away from the Greeks in the bible even if they tried.

This is about simplifying, beautifying or making the laws from the Old Testament more elegant so the most important part becomes instantly acquirable to anyone. This is exactly like God promises in the book of Jeremiah. The Jewish Talmudists believe there are 613 laws that a pious Jew should follow. The reality is, there is potentially more than 613. It is hard enough for most people to remember all of them... let alone follow them. Some of these laws are clearly outdated and don't need to be followed anymore. Just like an elegant equation, the modified law and promise from God in Jeremiah is trying to get to the most fundamental and important part of the laws. The literal foundation of all law. What is most important in God's eyes? God is about justice and truth. There can be no true justice or faith in laws without the truth.

As for the gospel of John, the kingdom of Jesus is not of this world, the temple is the body, the truth will set you free, God is Light, Love, Spirit, and Truth. Jesus is the Logos that gives meaning and order to chaos and true Israelite's have no guile. They don't lie, which is interesting because as I am pointing out on this blog, we have a lot of Jews, Israelite's, Christians, and Muslims that are completely full of crap.

Other interesting points in the gospel of John, everyone is afraid of the Jews, the Jews worship Caesar, Jesus is against the Jews BUT, some are following him, and Nicodemus, a very important Jew, is a believer and assists in his burial. The legs of Jesus are not broken at the crucifixion, and at the end of the gospel, he walks away with Simon Peter following him and he leaves behind the disciple whom he loves until he returns.

Now, let us look closer to what the Sacrificial Lamb and the Scapegoat are on Wikipedia, here you can see a turncoat Benedict Arnold type for what they really are:

Quote from the wiki sacrificial lamb:

A sacrificial lamb is a metaphorical reference to a person or animal sacrificed (killed or discounted in some way) for the common good. The term is derived from the traditions of Abrahamic religion where a lamb is a highly valued possession.

In politics, a sacrificial lamb candidate is a candidate chosen to contest an election despite the fact that he or she has little chance of victory. The political party thus appoints the person as a sort of "sacrifice" to the stronger opponent.

In cinema and literature, the term sacrificial lamb refers to a supporting character whose sole dramatic purpose is to die, thus galvanizing the protagonist to action and simultaneously demonstrating how evil the villain is.

Very often, the sacrificial lamb is a family member, partner, or "old buddy" of the protagonist, with whom he or she has an assumed intimacy, thus requiring no real character development. The term is almost always used critically, with the implication that the character was used transparently as a plot device.
